These are only some of the many organizations and the charities that Whitney Key Club supports. Keep in mind that in our volunteer events, we are only helping non-profit organizations with BLINDSTART being the only exception. As the ones who will plant the seeds of service, we want to help all, and our aid is always within reach of anyone who needs it.

“The next steps of our journey will depend on our willingness to adapt to the changing world around us... to infuse equity throughout our programmes... and to find new ways to realize the rights – and brighten the futures – of the most disadvantaged children around the world”.  Anthony Lake, Executive Director, UNICEF
"UNICEF promotes the rights and wellbeing of every child, in everything we do. Together with our partners, we work in 190 countries and territories to translate that commitment into practical action, focusing special effort on reaching the most vulnerable and excluded children, to the benefit of all children, everywhere."

"Pediatric Trauma remains the leading cause of death and injury among children ages 14 and under in the United States. The mission of our Pediatric Trauma Program (PTP) is to develop local projects which will reduce the number of children in our three-state District who are killed or injured by trauma, ensuring all children live happy, healthy and safe lives."

"BLINDSTART was founded in 2006 by Brian Tom, a visually impaired entrepreneur. Always wanting to be first, he and his growing team of supporters offered the first blind/blind-folded mud run in 2009. The next year, BLINDSTART became the first blind dragonboat racing team at the Long Beach Dragonboat Festival. Our events bridge the gap between the blind and sighted, and give our participants an insight into two different worlds. We liberate blind individuals by having events through which they can participate in mainstream activities and raise awareness of blindness in America."

"Our mission is simple: Build a socially-conscious generation of young people who END the global water crisis. We do this by educating students about it and activating them to rock the clean water cause & build real water projects all over the world. Why Water? Health and Sanitation: Waterborne diseases kill more children every single year than AIDS, Malaria, and all world violence combined. Small children typically do not have strong enough immune systems to fight diseases like cholera, dysentery, or schistosomiasis."

"Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has raised more than $5 billion—most of it $1 at a time—for 170 children’s hospitals across the United States and Canada, which, in turn, use the money where it’s needed the most. These donations have gone to support research and training, purchase equipment, and pay for uncompensated care, all to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible."

"Its original mission accomplished, the foundation turned its focus to preventing birth defects and infant mortality. The March of Dimes has led the way to discover the genetic causes of birth defects, to promote newborn screening, and to educate medical professionals and the public about best practices for healthy pregnancy. We have supported research for surfactant therapy to treat respiratory distress and helped initiate the system of regional neonatal intensive care for premature and sick babies."
